The evolution to equality in all things media creaks ever so slowly in the direction of progress, most essentially in the realm of Presidential politics: 20 years to include a woman as moderator of a Presidential debate (Congratulations to CNN”s Candy Crowley!) And now The Women’s Media Center (www.womensmediacenter.com) reveals the hardcore numbers about who is reporting the 2012 election. Not women. According to the research by WMC research partner The 4th Estate Project, 3/4 of all stories have been written by men.
